Welcome to the site of the Pasco County Hitmen, a former 6 man football team who were the 2010 & 2011 SCASF state champions. We're an organization that's going into its' 8th year. Unlike most other teams in the area, we are here to stay. We proudly play a very high paced game and are always on the lookout for dedication and winning attitudes. So, if you think this sounds like you, we can’t wait to hear from you! Anyone and everyone is welcome to try-out. Don't hesitate to contact us if interested.

In 2010, we accomplished what we set out to do, becoming the 2010 SCASF state champions. This game started as a dog fight and ended as a mud bowl. The game started with a Panther turnover which Emanuel Gamble took back to the end zone for the Pasco County Hitmen’s first score of the game. After that, the Hitmen never looked back. Scores included:

2TD's by Arkise Hayes

2TD's by Hector Collazo

1TD by Emanuel Gamble

1TD by Eric Brooks

Matt Selby threw for 3 touchdowns in an incredible performance. The defense played a great game with a number of turnovers and excellent pressure on the Panther's quarterback.

We had an amazing season with great performances by Marshall O’Brien, who ran the ball and rushed the quarterback consistently, and Matt Selby, with his accurate throwing ending the season with 25 passing touchdowns, 8 rushing touchdowns, 2,032 yards passing, and only 3 interceptions. The team, as a whole, did a great job all season. This allowed us to stroll into 2011 where we went undefeated, retaining the title of SCASF champions.

We would like to congratulate Matt Selby in being invited to try-out for the Blue Bombers of the CFL in March of 2012. We wish him the best of luck and are proud to have him represent the Hitmen in the CFL.

In 2012, we expanded our roster to 53 guys and competed in the United Football Federation (UFF). Like when we started 6 man, the first year was a learning experience for us. Although we were making constant adjustments on the fly while trying to adjust to the 11 man game, we were still successful with a 7-4 record.

Looking forward to 2014, we have already begun adding tremendous talent to the already stout roster. We are excited for the upcoming year and plan on competing for the United Cup III.

We want to personally thank all of our fans for the tremendous support you have given us.

“Leaders are made, they are not born. They are made by hard effort, which is the price all of us must pay to achieve any goal that is worthwhile’”.
